Small game can be hard to see, and when there’s a little more on the line than tin cans and Saturday afternoon plinking, precise sights are a must. Since the critters typically hunted rarely stand as still as tin cans do, quick follow-up shots are also frequently needed, and the smooth action we’re famous for is a perfect match for the capabilities of the Skinner sight.
In either barrel length, 16.25 or 20 inches, the Small Game Carbine and Rifle are fitted with Skinner’s solid steel rear base and fully adjustable aperture (with .096” insert or .200” ghost ring option) specifically dimensioned to line up perfectly with the tall brass bead front sight for easy zeroing, greater visibility, and more precision when it’s needed.
We retained the American walnut stock, classic octagon barrel and versatile utility
in all three standard .22 rimfires, the Long Rifle, Long, and Short to cover everything from trapline to tree-top and beyond; and added a cold-weather, glove-friendly, over-sized large loop lever to this trim four-season hunter. Easy through the brush, quick on target, and fast on follow-up. A serious hunting lever gun for serious lever gun hunters.

South Mountain Firearms sells firearms only in accordance with Federal, State and local firearm laws.
Federal firearms laws prevents shipping firearms directly to individuals without a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL), however we can ship them to an FFL Dealer in your area.
To purchase a firearm and have it shipped, you must complete the following steps listed below before we can process your order and ensure a trouble free transaction.
- Complete your firearm purchases by clicking the "Add to cart" button under the product(s) of your choice and completing the checkout process including making your payment.
- Find an FFL dealer near you that will accept the transfer of the firearm for you. This can be your local Gun Shop, Pawn Shop, Gun Range or any other location that holds a current FFL and will help you your transfer.
- Contact your FFL dealer and tell them you would like to transfer a firearm from South Mountain Firearms. This transfer and any associated fees are between you and the FFL doing the transfer.
- Have your licensed FFL dealer mail a signed copy of their FFL to:

Lincolnton, NC 28093 - Once we have received a signed copy of your FFL/dealer’s license performing the transfer and payment has been processed we will ship the firearm to your FFL/dealer.
- We will send an email with the tracking number when the firearm is shipped.
- Once your FFL/dealer receives your firearms, they will perform your background check. You will then complete all the necessary paperwork and pick up firearm.
Note: Ammunition and Firearms must be purchased separately, in two separate orders. Also, includes your name and order number on any correspondence you send to South Mountain Firearms.
