It combines all the features of our legendary Big Boy rifle with the quick handling of a shorter, lighter carbine barrel length — losing almost a pound in barrel weight.

It combines all the features of our legendary Big Boy rifle with the quick handling of a shorter, lighter carbine barrel length — losing almost a pound in barrel weight.
It’s the ideal brush gun for tight spaces, but don’t let its compact size fool you. The shorter barrel gives up nothing in accuracy to the regular Big Boy. This is still one hard to come. And like our classic Henry Big Boy the attention to detail in the design with great western styling including the large loop lever makes holding this rifle as thrilling as it is to shoot.
The 16.5” octagonal barrel is outfitted
with a classic fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a reversible white diamond insert and a brass beaded front-sight. The tubular magazine tops off at 7 rounds.
Both the straight-grip stock and forearm are crafted of select American walnut accented with a brass barrel band and Henry’s recognizable brass receiver. All have that crisp, smooth action that sets an authentic American-made Henry apart from other lever action rifles on the range and in the woods today. The .44 Magnum can also shoot .44 special rounds, and the .357 Magnum can also shoot .38 special rounds.

Federal firearms laws prevents shipping firearms directly to individuals without a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL), however we can ship them to an FFL Dealer in your area.
To purchase a firearm and have it shipped, you must complete the following steps listed below before we can process your order and ensure a trouble free transaction.
- Complete your firearm purchases by clicking the "Add to cart" button under the product(s) of your choice and completing the checkout process including making your payment.
- Find an FFL dealer near you that will accept the transfer of the firearm for you. This can be your local Gun Shop, Pawn Shop, Gun Range or any other location that holds a current FFL and will help you your transfer.
- Contact your FFL dealer and tell them you would like to transfer a firearm from South Mountain Firearms. This transfer and any associated fees are between you and the FFL doing the transfer.
- Have your licensed FFL dealer mail a signed copy of their FFL to:

Lincolnton, NC 28093 - Once we have received a signed copy of your FFL/dealer’s license performing the transfer and payment has been processed we will ship the firearm to your FFL/dealer.
- We will send an email with the tracking number when the firearm is shipped.
- Once your FFL/dealer receives your firearms, they will perform your background check. You will then complete all the necessary paperwork and pick up firearm.
Note: Ammunition and Firearms must be purchased separately, in two separate orders. Also, includes your name and order number on any correspondence you send to South Mountain Firearms.
